Izložba, otvorena danas u Sarajevu, "Stari zanati - očuvani kroz vijekove", potvrdila je ono što se već dobro zna: zanati se održavaju zahvaljujući malom broju onih koji čuvaju tradiciju. Brojni od starih zanata su već izumrli ili su na "dobrom putu" da postanu dio istorije.
"Stari zanati očuvani kroz vijekove" naziv je tradicionalne izložbe koja je već peti put otvorena danas u Brusa bezistanu u organizaciji Muzeja Sarajeva i Udruženja zanatlija "Stari zanati". Zanatska radnja Bećart je po drugi put bila gost ove, već tradicionalne izložbe. U depadansu Muzeja Sarajeva Brusa bezistanu tako je izloženo na desetine eksponata kojima je prezentirano umijeće zanatlija i dragocjen ručni rad. Mnogi od starih zanata danas su već izumrli ili su na dobrom putu da postanu samo dio historije.
Inlay is a very old craft that almost no longer exists in our region. It is about decorating wood with silver wire. Often, this technique could be seen on the wooden parts of weapons.
Trying to preserve the craft of total disappearance we created a line of jewelry, made of wood decorated with filigree silver wire. Jewelry is a unique layout and design, and we will try to provide you these amazing jewelry.
In August 2008, we participated in the exhibition "Sarajevo in the works of artists".
This is one of many attempts to help preserve the traditions and ancient crafts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Days of Culture of Sarajevo City in Vienna" is an event that was in May 2008 was organized by the city of Vienna. The goal was the presentation of culture and traditions of Sarajevo citizens in Vienna. Handicraft shop "Bećart" participated with their products and thus contributed to better understanding of the citizens of Vienna with our tradition.
Now a UNESCO confirmed that our work really traditional and have great value. In their book "Traditional Arts and Crafts in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in the column about filigree craft is story about our jewelry.
