"Craftsmen - the guardians of tradition Bascarsija" is title of the exhibition, which is organized by the Zone enhanced business opened in ASA Art Gallery, Sarajevo, gathering many fans of traditional crafts and arts. The exhibition is part of the same project of which, with accompanying catalog and promotional film, wants to preserve the cultural and historical heritage which segments in the new era of dying, but also to promote its values. In this exhibition you can see our products made in the technique of incrustation and filigree.
The project brought together eminent names of bh science, including Orientalist and counselor Oriental Institute Behija Zlatar, ethnologist and adviser of the National Museum Marica Filipovic, director of the Museum of Sarajevo Amra Madzarevic, ethnologist and adviser at the National Museum Svetlana Bajic and archivist Sejdaliju Gusic.
The exhibition, which is assisted by the Museum of Sarajevo, and ASA Art gallery will be open until July 25, then will move to the annex of the Museum of Sarajevo - Brusa bezistan, where there will be a whole month of August.
From 1-11 September, the exhibition will be set up in the city gallery Collegium artisticum in Sarajevo as part of the first international event "Design Week".
